Help?! Last minute vacation ideas needed...

Any suggestions on a warm destination for a family of 4 on a budget for the week after Christmas? We live on the east coast... not opposed to flying somewhere. Help!

    If it were me, I head to Florida or Texas. I'm a fan of Disney, so I would end up there, although not necessarily budget friendly. Houston TX would be pretty far south as well. Good luck! We are planning a quick trip to Nashville just after Christmas. Smile

    Maybe keep an eye on last-minute travel deals from places like Travelzoo? I've hardly ever planned last-minute trips--how fun!

    I live in NW Florida. Unlike other areas of FL, the winter is not the big season for snowbirds here so you may find a good deal. I think you would find enough to do in Destin (maybe a day trip to Panama City Beach about 50 miles away).
