So, it's been a while since I've posted... we've had the house now for a little over a month -- the roof has been replaced and we've demo'd one of the bathrooms down to the studs. After which, of course, was when we started thinking about possible asbestos in the house. The house was built in 1981 so it was in those few years of transition where builders were using up the stock they had left when the laws changed. Chances are our house doesn't have asbestos in it but we'd like to know (even though we've probably sucked it all in by now with the bathroom demo). So, does anyone have a clue as to how we can send samples out for testing or who we send the samples to??
Asbestos?
