It's a LONG month!

Now, this isn't a surprise anymore than Christmas is on Dec. 25 each year... we always get paid on Dec 20 and then our next paycheck doesn't come in until Jan 31... makes for a very long month! So although we are aware of the long gap in time between paychecks, it still hurts. We're only on Jan 15 and it stinks. Mostly I get bored because I've already done what I need to with our money (i.e. sending some to savings, paying off the car loan, etc.) and I can't do anymore until we get paid again. Oh, well...

    Yeah, I agree that is a long time until the next pay period. I don't think I would want to be paid like that

    That's how it used to be for me, too, but now I get paid regularly on the last day of the month, even in December. I do like the once-a-month paycheck; I can take care of everything at once.

    Can you start a savings or MM fund and direct deposit to it and connect it to your checking? Spend less than you make and regulate your own income? We do this and then take out only what's needed for that particular 30 days.

    Hope I made that clear.
