Christmas gift ideas for co-workers?

December 8th, 2006 at 07:54 pm

What is everyone else getting for their boss and co-workers? I need ideas for my boss as well as the ladies that work for me.... help! I can't think of a thing... I don't want to do candles - that's just too generic. Maybe gift cards? This is my first year here and would like to get them something semi-special as I feel very fortunate to work with each of them... any ideas?

One of my fav gift from a co-worker was a thick, warm soft pair of socks several years ago. I still enjoy wearing them throughout the winter...they are pilled and stained, but one of my fav winter possessions!

By the way....I absolutely love candles and very much appreciate them when I get them!!!
I dont consider them a generic gift at all!!!

Maybe make Christmas goodies? Not all people have the time to cook and maybe would love a treat. One year a boss made each of us a mini fruitcake in a tin she decorated. It was yummy. Course not all people like fruitcake....

    There's always cookies or fudge.

I like the cookies or fudge idea. I also like gift certificates to restaurants, even in small amounts.

I bought mine one each of the handsoaps from Bath and Bodyworks (is that the right name?) - antibacterial with a nice fragrance. I'll do it up in a small gift bag. 4 for $10 so not expensive if you give each person one.
